SDR-14 Tracked Mars Phoenix Lander

I know this is old news (May 2008), but it is still pretty cool. RFSpace's SDR-14 receiver was used to track the Mars Phoenix Lander. There are some videos over on RFSpace's blog page about the project/mission. The rover was tracked using the 100 meter dish at the Green Bank, WV radio observatory.

10th Annual Night of Nights - Commemorating Commercial CW

The Tenth Annual Night of Nights, an event commemorating the use of commercial Morse code transmissions in the maritime service, will be held starting at 0001UTC July 13th (that is 8:01PM EDT July 12th, tonight).
