Some more RX information:
The main RX is a two-stage design - 9mHz first IF and 30kHz second IF. The sub RX is not the same - it is a three stage starting at 40.455mHz and going to 455kHz, then 30kHz. So it doesn't look like the FTdx-5000 will support true diversity RX. Both receivers would have to be the same configuration for that to work. Too bad. I would be curious to know why they didn't go with two identical RX'es in such a high end rig.
